Dr. Bob Abene and his wife Pat are the proud owners of the Columbia Academy of Cosmetology. Pat with her research and business background, and Dr. Bob with his years of experience in higher education administration and Board leadership are committed to assisting individuals obtain their career dreams and goals. This is the main reason why they began the Academy with its mission to offer an excellent Cosmetology education, delivered in a small class environment, and at a very affordable cost.

CAC's!Vision		Columbia Academy of Cosmetology is "committed to individual potential and advancing lives and careers".! What this means is that we are primarily an educational institution that believes in the ability of each of our students to progress through our programs and become successful and very satisfied professionals.!We are driven by a desire to!serve our Columbia area communities!through our outreach for new students as well as those we serve in our clinic salon. The Academy is also dedicated to introducing students to the diverse array of professional cosmetology opportunities in both full and select service salon establishments.

Our Academy is dedicated to teach each student within the framework of the Milady curriculum, as well as incorporate what we refer to as the "CORE" principles of becoming a successful professional: learning effective Communication Skills, focusing on Others, embracing Responsibility, and Exploring new approaches. Of course, this will take the focus, energy, and commitment of each of our working team and Academy family...both the students and our instructors and staff. This is made possible always, because of the student-centered!educational approach!of the Columbia Academy of Cosmetology and its dedication to create an environment for learning and growth for all of its Academy "family". The Organization Peopled by professionals devoted to giving individual attention to each of their students and those obtaining clinic salon services is at core of the Academy's organization and educational structure. !Our! educators are dedicated to teaching, to learning, and to the enthusiastic sharing and enjoyment of knowledge.
